Echo Arena, Hammond Harkins Gallery 2018-19
I use this arch in the mural work, sculptures, and painting in this series of works as a form that obstructs, protects, and frames. Contrasting with the arches are truncated figures culled from Grecco-roman wrestling positions found on the Internet. These forms are translations into silhouettes and outlines.
